  • retired tuesdays

Retired? Come and join us on Tuesday mornings as we serve together and use our different skills to help out Pine Valley!

    • We start at 8:00 am, take a break for coffee mid morning and then finish up around 2:30 pm.
    • The Maintenance Director provides a small list of projects that need to be done each week and the Tuesday crew works on these projects (usually the Retired Tuesday projects are best for skilled workers).
    • This program runs during our off season from Labor Day to Memorial Day.

Call the office with any questions at (724) 752-1661 or email

  • drive ministry

Our campers need our help to get to camp! Experience the joy of driving our campers out of the chaos of the city into the country as they anticipate their favorite week of the year. Enjoy the stories they tell of camp as you return them to the city at the end of a life changing week. Be a part of their story!

Would you consider driving one of our vans to pick up campers on a Sunday afternoon and/or Friday evening?   If you are able to be a driver for us and want more details please call our office at (724)-752-1661 or email to

  • Summer serve

Summer Serve is an opportunity to come to Pine Valley for an evening (5:30 pm-8:00 pm) experience on a Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday while camp is in session. Come meet our campers, hear a SERVIMONY* from the staff that serve here, and be inspired by how God is at work in the lives of young people. Your group would have the opportunity to serve our campers a meal, help clean up, serve snack, and interact with campers as you serve them. Most importantly, you get to be the hands and feet of Jesus to these kids. It’s a simple act of love that goes a long way.

If you would like to sign up for any dates this summer, fill out this interest survey and we will contact you!

Once you have officially secured a date for your group, you will receive an email confirmation with an attachment to forward to the rest of your group. It includes any details you may need!

CLICK HERE to evaluate your Summer Serve experience. Let us know what you think!

*SERVIMONY--staff share why they come to serve at Pine Valley; it is similar to a testimony.

    • We often need help with stuffing and labeling newsletters and other mailings.
    • If you have the desire to help on computers, we have a need for people with a solid knowledge of Word, Excel and/or searching the internet for research projects.
    • We regularly need help with filing (both paper filing and scanning into our digital files)

  • Help us Rebuild

The Rebuild is becoming a Reality!

Our Rebuild dream is becoming reality as we celebrate the completion of Valley View Lodge and the Rec Deck, our open pavilion/temporary dining space.

With the completion of these two structures, which are Phases 1 and 2 of our capital building campaign, we now have a year-round facility that can accommodate our campers and summer staff, allow us to expand our teen program, house our Light of the City choir, and provide missional outreach opportunities.  It also prepares us for Phase 3 which is to build a new 12,000 sq ft dining hall named Legacy Dining Hall.  Site prep, which entailed moving dirt to raise up the site 6' in elevation off of the flood plain, is completed and plans to build the foundation, pour cement and erect steel beams are underway.

If you would like to help with the Legacy Dining Hall campaign, contact Mr. Matt at 724-272-2047 or the office at 724-752-1661.
